Working With Us
Volunteers are at the heart of what FRP does and we value those who offer us their time and talent. Over the past year we have hosted a total 72 volunteers.
Our volunteers come from all walks of life and have a variety of skills and life experiences. Some are keen to build skills after a period away from the workplace, others may be newly arrived migrants who want to improve their English and some are retired and keen to expand their network of friends.
We have a number of opportunities available, including:
- Drivers
- Driver's Mates
- Warehousing
- Electrical Repairs and Testing
- Woodwork
- Upcycling
- Upholstery
- Retail
- Administration
At the cessation of a placement we aim to offer a reference and where requested certificates to show proficiency in areas such as Health and Safety, Manual Handling and PAT testing.
